These SMS Terms & Conditions govern the text-messaging program operated by Dr. Tarick K. Smiley, MD and Beverly Hills Surgical Arts (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you agree to these terms.
1. Program description
When you provide your mobile number through a form, scheduling tool, or by texting our business number, you may receive SMS text messages related to your inquiry, appointment confirmations and reminders, responses from our patient coordinators, and post-visit follow-ups. This is a conversational and transactional messaging program.
2. How to opt in
You opt in by submitting your mobile number through a contact or consultation form on our website, by booking through our scheduling links, or by sending a text message to our published business number. Opt-in consent is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us (for example, appointment reminders and replies to your messages).
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider. We do not charge for the messages themselves.
5. Opt out — reply STOP
You can cancel the SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and will receive no further messages. To rejoin, sign up again as you did the first time.
6. Help — reply HELP
For help, reply HELP to any message, or call us at +1 (866) 372-3288.
7. Supported carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.
8. Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Information you provide, including your mobile number and SMS opt-in consent, is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties.
